This family-run hotel with its own area of private woodland offers a peaceful, rural Cretan atmosphere in a traditional and wholesome setting.

 The hotel has 12 double rooms, with private bathroom and shower, each with central heating and a veranda. Nearly all family members of the owners speak English. In addition, there are four apartments and one studio apartment. These semi-detached stone cottage apartments, built and furnished in traditional style, show careful attention to details. Each apartment has a fireplace, satellite TV, safebox, air-conditioning (at an extra charge), and a veranda with a beautiful view of the woods.

 One studio apartment -- suitable for 2-3 people -- includes a living room/bedroom with a double bed; one sofa bed; open fireplace; kitchenette with refrigerator, gas stove and dining table; private bathroom and shower.

 Four apartments -- suitable for 2-4 people -- including a living room/bedroom with one sofa bed; open fireplace; a breakfast bar; and a kitchenette with refrigerator, gas stove and dining table. A separate bedroom has 3 single beds, a stone dressing table, and private bathroom and shower.

 The resort has a large swimming pool, a restaurant and a meeting or conference room. The generous sized restaurant has a fireplace and serves a buffet style breakfast, with lunch and dinner served a la carte. The food served in the restaurant is traditional and healthy. The vegetables are fresh and grown in the resort's large garden, the olive oil used comes from the trees on the resort's grounds and the wine comes from the owner's vineyards. Many of the dishes served, as well as the bread, are baked or cooked in traditional wood burning ovens.

 The hotel is beautifully positioned deep in the mountains about 20Km southwest of the town of Rethymnon, and as such, lies approximetaly 16Km from the Aegean sea to the north and 16Km from the Libyan sea to the south.
